Baturu Yunfu Franchisee: Bids Farewell to 4 Stores, Embarks on 8-Year Entrepreneurialversal in Auto Parts
2026-04-02

At around eight in the morning, Baturu YunCheng franchisee Peng Jiamin checks the auto parts operation status on her phone and arranges for drivers to speed up delivery, ensuring all deliveries are completed before noon.

Peng Jiamin, who grew up in Yunfu YunCheng, is very familiar with this "Hometown of Cloud Stones." She knows everyone while walking through the streets and alleys. Now she has taken root in her hometown and started an auto parts business, transforming from a wage earner into a young entrepreneurial boss in the county town.

Taking Root in Hometown, Tier-5 Cities Also Have Golden Tracks

"I just like the pace of life in small cities," Peng Jiamin admitted frankly. Compared to the "super involution" in first- and second-tier cities, she prefers the "just right" feel of tier-4 and tier-5 small cities. Knowing that small counties also cannot do without "clothing, food, housing, and transportation," she, with her auto repair major, chose to join a 4S store after graduation and worked in the major client department.

Two years later, by a stroke of luck, she joined Baturu and was responsible for YunCheng's ground promotion business. During this time, she seized the franchise opportunity offered by headquarters and successfully obtained the franchise qualification for YunCheng.

Recalling the decision to franchise, Peng Jiamin said she was very confident, "On one hand, I had been doing auto parts business in my hometown for two years and knew that the auto parts market in small cities has potential; on the other hand, I understand the company, Baturu also has a reputation in YunCheng, and the auto parts + internet model is even more worth trying."

"YunCheng is not big, but there are over a thousand repair shops of various sizes, and even 4S stores number around a hundred, mainly Toyota, Honda, Nissan, plus domestic brands." Years of exploration allowed Peng Jiamin to smell continuous business opportunities. At that time, there was no platform in YunCheng providing full vehicle parts transactions, so she took the opportunity to go all out.

This was Peng Jiamin's first venture. "From working for others to running my own business, it's definitely more tiring, but the key is that income has increased." Thanks to the platform's companionship model, Peng Jiamin, accompanied by the regional manager, did marketing and services together, and within a few months, the turnover reached up to a million-level peak.

Novice Entering the Industry, Overcoming Hard Challenges by All Means

Although she had worked at a 4S store for two years, Peng Jiamin admitted that she had not truly dealt with spare parts and entered the industry with zero experience.

When initially developing the market, Peng Jiamin encountered difficulties. Many older auto repair shop owners were hard to convince to accept online procurement. In their eyes, "pay after receiving the goods" was the old rule.

Therefore, leveraging her advantage as a local, Peng Jiamin simply stayed in the shop chatting with the master technicians, teaching them hand-in-hand how to inquire prices, view parts diagrams, and track delivery progress on the auto parts platform. With years of market experience, she knew that only by truly experiencing the convenience of online procurement could this trust barrier be broken.

Efforts paid off. After several transaction operations, the master technicians finally tasted the "sweetness" of online procurement: While waiting for offline supplier quotes, the platform completed second-level quoting; besides VIN code and OE inquiries, the platform also supports uploading pictures, handwritten work orders, and other inquiry methods, often completing a day's procurement tasks in just over ten minutes.

"I like visiting repair shops a lot, learn more and ask more. Over time, the repair masters directly call me 'Baturu' when they see me, and I've gotten used to it." After adapting to the market rhythm, Peng Jiamin also felt unprecedented ease. Over these years, customers have become very familiar with the platform's procurement process and have developed the habit of inquiring on the auto parts platform whenever there is a need, so she no longer needs to follow them constantly.

In nearly ten years of auto parts business career, Peng Jiamin is glad she caught the express train of auto parts + internet. At the peak, she successively won franchises for three regions and devoted herself fully to it.

Eight Years of Entrepreneurship, Harvesting a Lifelong Auto Parts Career

Now Peng Jiamin has started a family, and her entrepreneurship has entered its eighth year.

The once solo fighter has now built a team of 3 people, mainly responsible for business, operations, delivery, and other work. "I always emphasize to the team that we serve customers, not just orders," in other words, putting customers first, which is also one of headquarters' service philosophies.

Unlike other platforms, Baturu places great emphasis on the "service" of full vehicle parts. From online procurement to last-mile door-to-door delivery, technical support, and other after-sales links, there are standardized service processes and rules. Peng Jiamin said that she and her team are implementing the service in place, the most critical link.

When it comes to the hot new energy vehicles, Peng Jiamin said that to meet customers' diversified procurement needs, the platform has long added new energy vehicle parts and used parts supply, and she will keep pace and continue to "prepare for battle."

From a novice to an industry veteran, Peng Jiamin has gone through the most critical decade. She frankly said that now is the high-speed development period of the auto parts industry, and one must persist to get a satisfactory answer sheet. Now she is harvesting a auto parts career worth striving for lifelong.
