On June 26, at the "2026 China Automotive Dealership Accident Vehicle Business Breakthrough and Enhancement Sharing Conference" hosted by the All-China Federation of Automobile Dealers Digitalization Sub-Association, Chen Jikai, Vice President of Baturu, delivered a keynote speech titled "Baturu Empowers Automotive Dealership Groups to Reduce Costs and Improve Efficiency."

Pain Point Revealed: The "Hidden Costs" of Component Procurement

In his speech, Chen Jikai pointed out the deep-seated challenges currently faced by automotive dealerships in parts procurement: a large number of suppliers with inconsistent quality, lack of standardized product quality criteria, opaque pricing leading to inflated procurement costs, and a highly manual, non-digitalized process that makes it difficult for the group to effectively manage store-level purchasing activities.

"These pain points may seem like old issues, but they actually reflect a lack of digital infrastructure supporting the entire procurement process," said Chen Jikai. He added that traditional, inefficient management practices are no longer sufficient to meet the current operational needs of dealer groups, and it is essential to achieve full-process digitization to break down information silos between headquarters and stores, making procurement activities recordable, analyzable, and optimizable.

Core Solution Revealed: Dual-Driven by "SaaS + Supply Chain"

Baturu's digital solution for post-sales centralized procurement focuses on the two key objectives of "cost reduction" and "efficiency improvement," centered around "SaaS + supply chain." It integrates comprehensive, multi-dimensional cost-saving methodologies and deeply embeds AI capabilities throughout the entire procurement lifecycle.

On the digital front, the customized centralized procurement system enables a fully closed-loop digital process covering inquiry, price comparison, ordering, payment, delivery, after-sales service, and reconciliation. By integrating features such as "three-party price comparison," "lowest price for equivalent quality," and "supplier blind bidding," it effectively curbs abnormal procurement practices and drives accessory prices toward reasonableness. Meanwhile, in terms of data insights, Baturu leverages the combined capability of "AI + procurement management" to transform static data reports into dynamic intelligent decision-making engines, achieving true intelligent, closed-loop management of procurement activities.

At the offline level, Baturu has integrated resources from over 3,000 high-quality factories and suppliers, providing the group with a competitive supply chain supplement and pricing benchmarks, thereby promoting price transparency within the existing supply system.

150+ case validations: Efficiency improved by 30%, costs reduced by over 10%

To date, Baturu has served over 5,000 4S dealerships. Its digital procurement solution has been validated by more than 150 medium and large dealer groups, delivering significant cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Since launching its digital procurement system in December 2022, Nanling Group has fully transitioned vehicle parts procurement to an online process, reducing combined procurement personnel and parts procurement costs by over 15%. After implementation, Shanghai Guansong Group reduced its after-sales comprehensive cost rate from 57% to 48%.

The rapid results are due, on one hand, to dealers' understanding, acceptance, and effective implementation of digitalization, and on the other hand, to Baturu's accumulated data, systems, supply chain, and operational capabilities over more than a decade in self-operated parts trading. These digital capabilities enable dealers to quickly achieve digital transformation in their after-sales business.

At the conference, Baturu, as the chair unit, actively participated in and supported the China Federation of Automotive Dealers Digitalization Sub-Association's release of the "2026 White Paper on the Development of Accident Vehicle Business for Chinese Auto Dealers," providing the industry with the first authoritative reference focusing on the current state and profitability challenges of accident vehicle operations.

In the future, Baturu will continue to work closely with the All-China Automobile Dealers Digitalization Sub-Association to reconstruct the after-sales value chain for dealers through digitalization and intelligence, transforming digitalization from a cost item into a core engine for profit growth.
