On the afternoon of November 18, guided by the Guangzhou Science and Technology Bureau, the Deloitte 2019 Guangzhou High-Tech High-Growth 20 Strong (abbreviated as "Deloitte Guangzhou 20 Strong") and Guangzhou Tomorrow's Star Award Ceremony, co-hosted by the Greater Bay Area Science and Technology Innovation Service Center and Deloitte China, was held in Guangzhou. Its selection criteria are extremely rigorous, discovering a group of high-growth, continuously innovative enterprises through multi-stage screening including business model and financial report analysis, on-site visits and surveys, and expert reviews.

Due to the authority of its selection process and the accuracy of its predictions for unicorn enterprise prospects, the program is also known as the "benchmark for global high-growth enterprises," "cradle of great companies," and "Oscar of high-tech enterprises," etc. Many well-known domestic and international companies, such as Tencent, Alibaba, JD.com, Google, Apple, etc., have been selected as representatives of Deloitte High-Tech High-Growth enterprises.
