Guangming.com | Auto Parts E-commerce Baturu Secures $100 Million Series C Funding, Led by Warburg Pincus
2026-04-02

Baturu, the all-vehicle parts auto parts e-commerce platform, announced the completion of a $100 million Series C financing round, led by Hopu Investment, with existing investor Zhongding Venture Capital following on.

Baturu was founded in 2013 with the mission to standardize and intelligentize China's automotive aftermarket transactions and services. Relying on a massive parts database, an efficient information system platform, and a complete supply chain service system, it uses a brand-new e-commerce solution to internetize the traditional auto parts industry, truly achieving the integration of information flow, logistics, capital flow, and data flow.

Starting from August2016, Baturu has successively cooperated with insurance companies such as Di Di, Sunshine, Pacific, Huaxia, Anxin, Dinghe, and others on direct parts supply.

Zeng Wan'gui said in an interview that next, Baturu will continue to deeply cultivate the three major areas of database, system, and supply chain. At the same time, adhering to the concept of openness and inclusiveness, it will connect with other areas of the automotive aftermarket, such as insurance claims assessment, supply chain finance, auto repair technology, brand and product marketing channels, automotive culture, etc., fully leverage the value potential of big data, and provide more services to the industry.

Roland Berger's analysis believes that compared with the US market, influenced by the rapid development of e-commerce, the Chinese market will form a distribution model centered on platforms in the future. Currently, numerous auto parts e-commerce platforms have emerged in the market. To stand out among many platforms, aftermarket distribution platforms must be based on transaction platforms with parts databases, deepen the binding of upstream and downstream relationships, and explore data value-added monetization business models.
