Baturu was invited to attend the 2025 International Forum on the Development of China's Automotive Industry and delivered a keynote speech
From September 11th to 14th, the 21st China Automotive Industry Development (TEDA) International Forum (referred to as "TEDA Auto Forum"), co-hosted by the China Automotive Technology and Research Center, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the China Automobile Engineering Society, and the China Automotive News, was held in Tianjin Binhai New Area.
This forum is specially supported by the Management Committee of Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, and jointly co-organized by Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, German Association of the Automotive Industry, China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, National Big Data Alliance of New Energy Vehicles, China Artificial Intelligence Industry Development Alliance, and European Automobile Manufacturers Association.
After two decades of development and innovation, the TEDA Automotive Forum has become a high-end exchange platform that brings together industry think-tank experts, shares their views and suggestions, and showcases intelligent achievements. It is known as the "Davos of the automotive industry".
Zeng Wangui, the founder and chairman of Baturu, was invited to attend the "Deconstruction and Reconstruction: Ecological Transformation of the Automotive Aftermarket" session on carbon cycle ecology and delivered a keynote speech, sharing the innovative practices of digital platforms in the field of automotive deconstruction and aftermarket parts circulation. He discussed the development of the automotive recycling industry with experts from Tsinghua University, China Resources and Environment Group, China Automotive Technology and Research Center, Tuhu, Yucheng, and other government, industry, academia, research, and enterprise representatives.
Zeng Wangui stated that with the continuous growth of China's car parc and the increasing age of vehicles, the market for scrapped car dismantling and recycled parts is experiencing explosive growth, and a market worth hundreds of billions is rapidly emerging.
As a fundamental digital infrastructure service platform for the automotive aftermarket, Baturu is committed to exporting infrastructure such as data, systems, supply chains, and operational capabilities accumulated from auto parts trading services to various industry entities in the aftermarket, promoting the digital and intelligent upgrading of the industry. The scrapped car recycling business is one of its focus areas. Since 2022, Baturu has been laying the groundwork for the construction of an ecological platform for the scrapped car recycling industry, connecting the entire chain from scrapped car recycling, dismantling, to the circulation of reused parts, driving the industry from "dismantling waste" to "precise dismantling and precise selling", and enhancing the resource utilization efficiency of the automotive recycling industry.
In the vehicle collection process, a scrapped vehicle valuation model is established with the support of the large database of Baturu parts, transitioning from "scrap pricing" to "parts pricing", enabling dismantling factories to confidently collect and accurately collect vehicles;
In the dismantling process, provide a visual dismantling plan, furnish each vehicle with an intelligent dismantling manual, and adopt a "screw-level" dismantling standard, enabling dismantling factories to bid farewell to blind and experiential dismantling, thereby enhancing both dismantling efficiency and value;
In the accessory sales process, we aim to change the "waste-like" management of scattered and poorly organized reusable parts. Based on standardization, we aim to make the circulation of reusable parts as automated and tradable as new parts, matching the procurement scenarios of downstream auto parts dealers and repair shops, and solving the problem of poor sales and sluggish sales.
Currently, with the support of the Baturu solution, upstream dismantling factories have achieved the ability to collect, dismantle, and sell efficiently. Some dismantling factories have doubled their monthly sales within half a year. Downstream reusable parts and accessories suppliers have transformed their inventory from a "junk pile" to a "standard warehouse", significantly improving sales efficiency. Small parts that were previously overlooked can now circulate efficiently, and maintenance companies and car owners can self-purchase them online as if they were new parts.
Zeng Wangui stated that China's automotive recycling industry is large in scale, with a diverse range of participants and numerous pain points and bottlenecks. It requires the participation of multiple parties, including the government, industry enterprises, associations, and institutions. As an infrastructure service platform, Baturu hopes to work together with partners from various industries to build a new industrial ecosystem featuring unified standards, interconnected data, and shared value.
At the meeting, Baturu and partners from various sectors jointly participated in the release of the "Carbon Cycle Ecological Think Tank Consensus". The consensus covers aspects such as improving the green and low-carbon standard system for automobiles, promoting the digital transformation of the automotive circular economy, and jointly building a new ecosystem for the automotive aftermarket, in order to comprehensively promote the green and circular development of the automotive industry.
